Summary: Arrived early and we asked if we could check in early and she acted put out but allowed it. The room was ready and had a great view. The hotel is a bit outdated but with that location we didn’t care. The restaurant service was top notch and the staff was very friendly. We ate all of our meals there. I was surprised they closed at 9pm when they have a large bar, chairs around fire pits and outside patio lights. Several people were hanging outside visiting when we were approach and told that they were locking up and we could not use the fire pits. They are losing so much money as several of us were getting drinks from the bar. Watching the sunset was great even with them closed. Definitely coming back next year.

Summary: We had a lovely, unique stay! Cabin was clean and spacious with a fantastic lake view from the sofa or outside Adirondack chairs. Kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering needs. Good air-con. Enjoyed seeing pelicans and walking along lake-side path, accessible directly from cabins.

Summary: Large rooms, clean, food was very good at the restaurant, for dinner & breakfast. Lobby check in was very slow - only 1 person and about 5 customers trying to check in. There was also a crying baby in the back room and it seemed like maybe the hotel staff was responsible for that as well as she seemed more concerned about the crying baby than we all were. Everything else that check in being slow was a great expectation.
